Grow, Play, Learn
Happy House Daycare was opened in 2008, it all started in Uta Squires 2000sqft basement. The original license was 2 Educators and 13 children. By the time August 2011 rolled around they had far surpassed that. They had become a licensed and accredited program and were at 7 Educators and 35 children.
With the phone ringing off the hook each day with parents needing high quality child care it was time for a move...
All our rooms run on the same daily routine and follow our philosophy of play through learn, hands on experiences and planning that is based on the children’s interests.
However, each room is set up almost as their own house. The educators each plan based on the children in their rooms interests and room layout is based on their classroom needs...
Happy House Daycare North and South will be opening up as an essential service site April 14,2020.
We need to take this time to acknowledge the hard work that the City of Cold Lake did to make this possible. We will be the first center opening in both the North East and North Central Region. The City of Cold Lake was extremely proactive and did so much work to make this happen for families in our community. It make us extremely proud to be in a City that values what our center does and to be seen as the need that we are. We are proud and honored to be committed to both our city and our community to help get through these unprecedented times.
If there is any essential service families in the community that are needing this service please contact us and we will send you our information. We will be running under strict rules and guidelines with very limited spots to ensure the safety or our children and families. Our office lines are closed but alternative cell phone numbers have been listed and can be reached.
